Sorting out the culprit
Who Is Really Misbehaving, Motor or Door?
A quick bench test sorts most mysteries. With the door shut, pull the red handle to unhook it from the motor, then lift it yourself. A healthy door rises with modest effort and stays parked around waist height. If it feels heavy, drifts or leans to one side, the trouble lives in springs, cables or track.
If it floats happily, the fault is on the electronics side: a remote that lost its pairing, a sensor pair that cannot see each other, a worn drive gear or a tired circuit board. Either way, go easy on the button, since a motor fighting a heavy door only adds damage.

Unsure Where Your Problem Belongs?
Say what the door does and how the opener behaves, and one short conversation often reduces the list to a couple of suspects.
